Nervous System
Check-In
This is an invitation to notice, without judgement.
In our When Life Gets Loud workshop, we explore how your nervous system is constantly scanning for safety, quietly shaping how you think, feel, move, and relate to the world around you. Most of us were never taught to read those signals. We just live inside them.
This short quiz is an extension of that exploration, designed to help you understand your nervous system, recognise the patterns it has developed, and find your way back to a steadier, more regulated baseline.
There are no right or wrong answers here, and nothing you find is a fixed truth about you. Stress, tension, and reactivity are not character flaws. They are signals from a nervous system doing exactly what it was shaped to do.
Answer as honestly as you can, based on how things have felt for you lately, not how you'd like them to be, or feel they should be.
What you notice may gently point toward where a little more support, stillness, or self-compassion could make a meaningful difference.
You cannot think your way to calm. You have to body your way there first.
This quiz is intended for personal exploration and education only. It has been designed as a gentle starting point to help you explore and begin to understand the nervous system states we work with at Connected Conversations. It is not a clinical assessment, a diagnostic tool, or a measure of your mental health status. The results are intended to spark curiosity and self-awareness, not to define, label, or diagnose your experience.
The content shared here does not constitute medical, psychological, or mental health advice, and should not be relied upon in place of professional guidance. Every person's nervous system is unique, shaped by their own history, biology, and lived experience, and the nuances of that cannot be captured in a short quiz. Should anything surface that feels bigger than this quiz can hold, know that support is always available through a qualified mental health professional.
